"Will you be my..." tags

A co-worker came to me about a week ago.  She had just been engaged and she wanted to "propose" to her wedding party. She asked me to come up with some vintage - style tags that would attach to the inside lid of the box the ring-pop was being contained in.

Eeeeeeeeeeeee!  I LOVE coming up with anything paper crafting related so of course I said yes and got to work.

But, I wasn't just going to put these 5 tags into a ziploc bag and hand them over! Oh no!  I decorated a kraft gift box and made one extra tag to put on top just for her and her fiancé.  :-)

Stamp set:
Petite Petals

Ink and paper:
Very Vanilla and Pink Pirouette cardstock
Soft Suede stampin pad (to add age with a dauber)

Versamark pad
Gold Embossing powder
Heat gun
Petite Petals punch
Angled Tag Topper punch
Large Pearls
Kraft Gift Box
-I was going to use the Victoria Crochet Trim ribbon, but I ran out, so I switched to a retired crochet ribbon.

Birthday Box

Pay no attention to the retired stuff behind the curtain... The great Stampin' Up! Ideas can be adapted to current items!

Did you get my Wizard of Oz reference?

It's true. Though some of our favorites get retired and new awesome items replace them, they can still be adapted to work with what is current and vise versa.

This box is a retired extended die: Sizzix Box #2 but I hung onto it because I love the size and you can easily make a boring gift card SHINE when put you put it into here.

Suddenly that boring gift card within a greeting card becomes so much more special.

I made this box for a good friend of mine and housed within (as you may guess from the exterior decoration) is a Starbucks gift card.

Even if you don't have a die cut box, you can dress anything up with a few stamps and a little paper!

Stamp sets:
Perfect Blend

Ink and Paper:
Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White cardstock
Wisteria Wonder and Early Espresso Stampin pad

By the Tide

Although it is the middle of winter, I am feeling like making a Summer-type card using our "By the Tide" stamp set.

One of the great things about Stampin' Up!'s color collections that they coordinate from one collection to the next. 0n this card we have used a new in-color called Coastal Cabana and paired it with Pool Party from our Subtle collection.
