Flowers in a Jar

Every year, Stampin' Up! has a Convention in Salt Lake City.  For those of us in my Stampin' circle who couldn't attend, we arranged a Mini Convention/Shoebox Swap.  We all gathered at a Bed & Breakfast in Pine Mountain Country Club, courtesy of Pam (my downline) and we stamped and chatted and had a great time.  Afterwards we went to the local pizza place and had more fun.  It was a great afternoon with some wonderful women.  Here is the swap that I made for the group.  Tomorrow, I will post all the other cards I made from our shoebox swap.

This stamp set is from the new Holiday Mini catalog on page 29.  Such a fun set!

After a summer like mine, it's DEFINITELY TIME FOR A DRINK!  :)  I just love this new stamp set called Happy Hour... It has more than just summer drink options... there's stamps for Christmas and New Years that can be used.  There's a cute peppermint stick, some holly and an olive on a toothpick.  LOL!

The Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper is a perfect compliment to this stamp set with the tiny bubbles as the background!  :)

Punchy Flower

The Quint-Essential Flower is such a fun, single stamp!  So many uses out of one stamp!  This stamp is meant to coordinate with several of our punches:  2-3/8" Scallop Circle, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle, 1" Circle, 3/4" Circle and 1/2" Circle!  So, needless to say, you can layer, layer, layer this card and really make it POP!  The use of the Top Note die is also fun and it's shape coordinates well with the Modern Label Punch.

I just love two-step stampin'!  The dimension you can add to blossoms without having to color is just amazing!  Essential to two-step stampin' is the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig... Haven't used a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig before? Come to class!  I will show you step by step how to use this simple, but oh-so-useful tool!

It's been a long time!

Wow, what an end of summer!  BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!  I recently accepted a full-time position at my work, and between kids' things and my things and vacation things, these blog things went to the back burner!

While on vacation in San Francisco, our car window was broken and my purse was stolen.. cell phone, credit cards, license.. etc.  I have just finally had the last of the items replaced, including my cell phone (cha-ching!),  and things are finally getting back to normal.

Stay tuned for all the cards I have been making over the past few weeks!
