Distressed Corkboard

I needed a corkboard above my desk to display cards and put reminders, but I didn't just want a plain old corkboard.  So, using a cheap can of flat-black spray paint, painter's masking tape and our very own Mostly Vintage Decor Stencil, I got to work.  When I was all done, I used some sand-paper and distressed the frame and also the corkboard itself to make it look worn through time and not so newly-painted and fresh.  I really love how this turned out and it goes perfectly with my decor!

  1. Sarah its really beautiful! You should put antique brads in the center of each one of your designs!! (Everytime I look at your board I think of the brads for some reason!) Can't wait to see it in person on Friday!!
