Branch Out (113200)
Color:
Chocolate Chip ink and c/s
Old Olive ink and c/s
Night of Navy ink
Brocade Blue ink
Basic Black ink
Very Vanilla c/s
Accessories:
Sponge Daubers
Dotto Adhesive
1-3/8" Circle Punch
Although this looks complicated, it's really not! First, the center square needs to be stamped with the Branch Out tree in Chocolate chip. On the card itself, just ink the top branches of the tree and fan it out around the top of the card.
Next, using the Dotto Adhesive, put a small strip on the back of the stamped tree and adhere it to your card. Punch your circle out of scrap paper, put some Dotto on the back of the circle and put your "moon" where you would like it on your card being sure to have it on the center piece and the card itself.
Then, using daubers and the various inks (try to dedicate one dauber per color) and just daub all around until you get your desired effect.
Remove your moon and you'll have the negative (and uncolored) shape beneath. Remove your stamped tree and take the dotto off the back. Layer your Chocolate Chip and Old Olive cardstock under the stamped tree and there you have it! Stamp your greeting and your raven and you're done!
HINT: When using daubers, I think it's best to keep one color per dauber. Something I do to keep my colors straight is use return address labels (the small ones) Once I dip a dauber in a color, I write the color of the ink on one return address label, daub the color on the label and adhere the label to the side of the dauber. Now I have that one dauber for that one color and it works perfectly! :)
